Little Eva's Locomotion

Our gorgeous Little Eva has done locomoted her way from Missouri to Virginia. Her new mom drove all the way and she and Eva had a lovely long drive to become acquainted. Upon meeting Eva, her new mom pronounced her the most adorable dog ever. Who could argue with her?

As many applicants have, Eva's new mom found that she applied for several dogs over the past year before getting a call about Eva. It was a perfect match! Eva needed to be an only dog, she wanted someone who was home all day and she likes walks. This retired teacher fit the bill in every respect.

Lucky Eva will get to visit the nearby park for socializing, exercise and all the other little things a dog likes a park for.

Remember, most folks aren't a good match for every dog. If at first you don't succeed, please don't give up. And for heaven's sake, don't buy a puppy from a pet store! pleads

Congrats to Eva and her mom! They look like a very happy and content pair. I think her retired mom would agree that Eva is #1 in her class! Hope she sends more updates on that sweet little Eva!

Hear! hear! to the Frog Princess for reminding all of us to not support pet stores/puppy mills! Patience is required in finding the perfect frog, and that patience will help us when we encounter Frenchie stubbornness!

There's never been a dance that's so easy to do,
It even makes you happy when you're feeling blue!

No pet store pups! I looked at one at a chain, if you ask I'll tell where, and it was thin and was (drumroll, please,) FIVE THOUSAND dollars. They would provide financing for it.

This is better.

Eva is a wonderful little dog well worth the wait and the roadtrip to pick her up and bring her home. She has made friends with the maltese/bichon who lives next door and every human she meets.

The adoption process took awhile but I was determined not to support the puppy trade and I am so glad I didn't give up. The folks at FBRN do their best to find perfect matches for the rescue Frenchies who deserve no less than their absolute best.

Thanks FBRN!
