Something Attempted, Something Done

Patches, another of the NC10 looking for a home, has a very busy life. Her hearing loss doesn't affect her ability to make human or canine connections in the slightest! Patches is loving her life outside the confines of the filthy rabbit hutch nailed to the side of a trailer. She's learning about children, learning about toys, learning about a life where she gets the attention she and every other dog deserves. Her foster mom, Cheryl, sent us these photos to keep us caught up on Patches' life.

Here is glimpse into a day in the life of Patch.

Patch starts her day by snuggling with her first client

Then a little trust building exercise

A refreshing sip of healthful beverage after all her hard work.

A game of tug of war at home for exercise and stress-reduction!

It sure was a full day!

"Each morning sees some task begun, each evening sees it close;
Something attempted, something done, has earned a night's repose."

Patches, we find your work ethic commendable in one so recently freed from durance vile. However, we must say that imagining such a long day's effortful striving quite enervates
