We know you aren't ready for this. You couldn't be. No one is. However, you are going to have to stiffen your lip, gird your loins, flex your arms, take a strong stance, because we can't put it off any longer.
Photos of Nolen.
This little guy came in because his owner was having some financial problems, and the first thing that happened was Nolen came down with something that looked like parvo! Parvo! The thing that strikes fear into the heart of every shelter worker, veterinarian, dog-owner, and puppy lover on the planet.
It wasn't parvo. But it looked like it!
You know how when you almost lose something, it becomes even more precious? Like if someone you love is in a traffic accident? That's what it was like with Nolen. He was adorable to start with, but the fear that he might have parvo made him somehow even more adorable and kind of preternaturally irresistible. Even for a Frenchie puppy.
And that's saying something.
So here he is in all his glory, in a bunch of fresh photos from his foster family. He's learning to fetch. He's learning to watch the brindle bitch for signs that she's going to be snatching back HER toy. He's learning to make his foster family laugh.
It's all in the photographic record.
How's that lip? Still stiff? Loins? Stance? Yeah. You are pretty much a goopuddle, right?
You aren't alone. It's also a big, slippy mess of goopuddle over here in the castle of
The Frog Princess
