Farewell to a Friend

Earlier this month, an FBRN grad went to the bridge. Her name was Chloe. Her life with her dad was too brief, and after a struggle with Cushing's disease that lasted over a year, she crossed from her owner's arms to her maker's. Here are some photos of Chloe taken before she became ill. Spare a thought for her grieving dad, and be extra sweet to your own furry friends tonight.
Requiescat in pace, Chloe.

I was the one who first picked up Chloe in Houston right about 4 years ago this month. To her adoptive dad, my sympathy. She was quite a spirited little girl and I know you gave her a wonderful life.

Please extend my condolences to Chloe's dad. One of the few consolations is knowing that she went having known those most important of all frenchie words/phrases "loved" "home" "full belly" "happy".

I cannot tell you how sad I feel. Having recently lost a beloved dog, I know how much it hurts. Please remember all the wonderful memories of Chloe & know that you did so much to make her life happy in her last years. She will be waiting for you when it is your turn to cross the bridge.
